Writing yesterday, today, tomorrow…

It’s a busy week on the writing front.

Yesterday “Just Write” met at Colehill Library. We had some fun exploring ideas about Spring, which is on its way, but sunny days are often preceded by cold grey misty mornings. Here is an impromptu poem we stitched together from images and phrases we generated as a group. New territory for some who say “I don’t do poetry”. Well now they do!.

Today Colehill Writers also ventured out of their comfort zone to write in a new venue. We visited the Russell Cotes Art Gallery and Museum on Bournemouth clifftop. The air was cold, but we enjoyed writing about the eclectic and sometimes bizarre  paintings, sculpture and ceramics in the collection, followed by an excellent tea in the Urban Renaissance Cafe in the gallery. 1-IMG_3919-0011-IMG_3918

Tomorrow I am running a writing and book making table at Colehill Library’s Children’s Easter Activity Morning. Then I’ll need a rest…
