Fun today making faux chenille at my textile class. A lot of stitching, slashing and fluffing up, and a great way to use up fabric from my stash and experiment with different effects.
Colourful cottons stitched in straight lines.
Silks and sheers in a random “bark” pattern.
I love the way it is named after fluffy caterpillars!
(Chenille = French for caterpillar)
