Bowls of colour

A grey wet day here again today, brightened on our walk to the shop by early flowering camellias in a garden down the lane. Then a lunch of orange red soup, the last of our butternut and tomato, from the freezer. Plus an early picking of forced rhubarb, which cooks down into an outrageous pink. Enough to bring some cheer to even the most dismal of days.
